The openGear® standard allows a mix and match approach of various manufacturer's equipment that conform to the standard to be mounted within a single common frame saving on rack space where only a few cards are required from multiple vendors.

IRT openGear® cards fully meet the openGear® standard. Software based remote monitoring and control via a computer is possible via the free downloadable, 3rd party, DashBoard™ application available from Ross Video's website.

SNMP control via a third party SNMP Browser is also possible provided openGear® frame is fitted with SNMP enablednetwork controller card. Requires openGear® MIB Files to match frame and cards, downloadable here.
