GENERAL:


The MiniLinx-1010 is a portable Multi-Channel Router, Switcher, Distribution Amplifier, Signal Converter1,2 or Multiple Fibre Optic Links1,2 for up to six serial data video signals at 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI or SD-SDI rates.

In addition, the MiniLinx-1010 may be used for ASI transport streams for use with MPEG compressed video streams, or other 270 Mb/s type data.

The MiniLinx-1010 conforms to SMPTE standards 2082-1, 2081-1, 424M, 292M and 259M-C for digital video signals, as well as the DVB standard for ASI.

Six BNC video ports act as either inputs or outputs as set via the front panel control switches, or a web based browser control via its front panel Ethernet monitor/control port.

Up to six SFP's of either single transmitter, single receiver or transceiver (transmit + receive) types may be fitted allowing for expansion as needed. Both MSA and non-MSA SFP's may be used. SFP ports2 act as either inputs or outputs depending upon what type of SFP is fitted.

In addition to video fibre link SFP's, the SFP ports will allow third party signal conversion SFP's, such as SPMTE-2022 video to Ethernet, MADI audio, HDMI/SDI converters, etc., to be fitted.

Any input may be switched to any output. This also includes any plugged in SFP's. Thus the MiniLinx-1010 can be configured as a Mini-Router, a Switcher, a Distribution Amplifier, a Signal Converter1,2, or Multiple Fibre Optic Links1,2.

Power is supplied by an external +12Vdc power supply, with a secondary external +12Vdc input port provided for power supply redundancy.

Monitoring is possible locally via the front panel display or remotely via a web browser.
